The art of asking; or in simple words, 'asking for a favour' or 'help' from someone. Lest we forget our childhood times when our parents obliged us all to end the speech with a 'please' whenever we ask for something from another person.
The pleasing 'please' or a polite expression of 'request'. 'Requests' are more commonly being referred to as 'a question', which may be request/s for information or favour as well. Another common reference will be a formal letter or document demanding something which is to be handed to authorities as 'petition'.
